AM Solution has been selected as a new project of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s ‘Material Parts Technology Development Project’ in 2021 and will receive about KRW 1.4 billion in research and development costs for three years.
Shinhwa Intertech, which has adhesive technology and coating technology for OLED components, will participate as the lead organization in this project.
AM Solution, a company specializing in the development of polymer materials, participated as a demand company and conducted basic research on the selection of ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymers for films to develop QDs that can secure the reliability of the four existing QD displays (high temperature, low temperature, high humidity, and thermal shock).
It aims to overcome the problems by developing a high heat and moisture resistance transparent film raw material resin for composite films.
